Bright, lively, and credible, built for Lou

Lou is the passionate business owner behind Water Safety Matters, a TED Talk speaker who has recently featured in the news, and someone with a really strong sense of mission and values running through her business.

The challenge

Create a site that felt as bright and lively as Lou and her business, without tipping over into “playful,” since her audience is swimming teachers and instructors, not the children and adults learning to swim.

Our approach

We worked carefully to strike that balance throughout the site: energetic and warm in tone, but professional enough to speak directly and credibly to an audience of trained instructors and educators.

The result

A website that captures Lou’s energy and mission while still speaking credibly to her professional audience, a project we’re genuinely proud of.
